Roofing for Seven Lakes' Three Gated Communities: North, South & West
Arthur's Roofing works inside all three Seven Lakes gates. Call (336) 565-5585.
One Name, Three Very Different HOAs
Most towns we serve have one set of local rules. Seven Lakes has three. North and South share the Seven Lakes Landowners Association and sit on roughly 1,545 acres with about 1,509 individual lots — North built around a chain of seven small lakes plus a horse stable and trail-riding program, South built around an 18-hole golf course with no lake frontage of its own. West is a separate 3,000-acre community under its own Seven Lakes West Landowners Association, organized around Lake Auman, a roughly 791-acre reservoir once measured as one of the clearest lakes east of the Rockies, plus the Beacon Ridge Golf & Country Club. Three HOAs means three sets of gate codes, contractor sign-in sheets, and work-hour rules — and our crews are set up to clear all three without slowing down your project.
What Actually Wears Out Roofs Here
Shaded, Moisture-Holding Slopes
A meaningful share of Seven Lakes lots — especially the wooded interior streets on the North and West sides — sit under mature pine and hardwood canopy that keeps north-facing slopes damp long after a storm passes. That extra dwell time is what lets moss and algae colonies get a foothold and start lifting shingle edges.
Pine Straw and Limb Debris in Valleys
Because so much of Seven Lakes was built into existing timber rather than cleared first, gutters and roof valleys here collect far more pine straw and small-limb debris per season than a typical open subdivision. Clogged valleys are one of the most common leak sources we find on service calls in this area.
Open-Water Wind Loading on Lake Auman
Lake Auman's size gives wind a longer runway to build speed before it reaches the shoreline homes in Seven Lakes West, which is a different loading pattern than what we see on the smaller lakes bordering the North Side. We account for that when we inspect ridge caps and flashing on Auman-facing roofs after a wind event.
Working North, South, and West on Their Own Terms
Every Seven Lakes crew we send already knows the difference between checking in at the North/South gate under the Landowners Association rules and clearing in separately for a job inside Seven Lakes West. If your street backs up to the golf course on the South Side, sits near the original seven small lakes on the North Side, or fronts Lake Auman or Beacon Ridge in the West, we plan the work around that community's specific contractor policies rather than a one-size-fits-all schedule. We also regularly work the surrounding NC-211 corridor between West End and Pinehurst, so getting a crew to any Seven Lakes address, roughly 9 miles from Pinehurst, is a short trip, not a special dispatch.
Roofing Services Available
We install full roof replacement systems including GAF Timberline HDZ and CertainTeed Landmark, Landmark PRO, and Belmont shingles, chosen in part for how they hold up under the shaded, moisture-prone conditions common on wooded Seven Lakes lots. For homes under heavy canopy, our moss and algae removal and gutter cleaning and installation services stay busy nearly year-round here.
After wind or hail events, especially the harder gusts we see along Lake Auman's open shoreline, we provide storm damage roof repair and documented hail damage roof inspection reports for insurance claims. We also handle roof leak detection for hard-to-source leaks and roof ventilation systems upgrades that help attics manage the area's humidity. For lakefront properties, our waterproofing work protects lower rooflines and deck transitions closest to the water.
Why Seven Lakes Residents Choose Arthur's Roofing
Three HOAs, three gate lists, and three sets of expectations — homeowners here need a contractor who shows up prepared for whichever one applies, not one learning the rules on-site. Our crews carry that knowledge into every job, whether it's a golf-course lot on the South Side, a lake lot on the North Side, or a Lake Auman waterfront home in Seven Lakes West.
